Our mother has been a resident for approximately two and half years. During this time the care which we have witnessed, almost daily, is superb. We cannot imagine having her live anywhere else as she has been well attended and loved by all at Avantara. We have found the caregivers have been extremely hard working and very kind with their work. Working in this environment requires more than fulfilling a job duty; the individuals who work in this capacity clearly are answering a call to assist the elderly in their late years. The entire staff has been extremely dedicated to the mission of helping others less fortunate.

The staff choose to work at a dementia/Alzheimer’s nursing home because they love a challenge. For nine years I have seen them come to work, meet the challenges of the day and go home with a smile. Their touch, caring words, and love for their residents is obviously sincere. They feel like family to me and mom. My father, Don, needed specialized care as his Alzheimer’s and dementia progressed, and it became difficult for my wife and me to manage at home. The facility itself is wonderful—always clean and welcoming. There are comfortable spaces to visit outside of my dad’s room, which made spending time with him even more enjoyable. He especially seemed to enjoy activities like singing, where he could participate in his own way.

For anyone considering a facility for their loved one, I can’t recommend Avantara Saint Cloud enough. The care, communication, and cleanliness here exceeded our expectations and made all the difference for my dad and our family.

When my mom’s dementia and Alzheimer’s worsened after her gallbladder surgery, I

could no longer provide the care she needed at home. Living in the country made it

difficult to get help in emergencies, so I knew I had to find a place where she would be

safe and well cared for. I chose Avantara Saint Cloud because I’ve known Alison

(Director of Nursing) for years and had heard such good things about the facility. I’m

so glad I did.

Rosalie’s time at Avantara has been nothing short of incredible. When she first

arrived, she was sad, but that quickly changed. She’s now engaged in activities with

people her age, participates in group events, and loves the music programs. I’ve

never seen her so happy. Her siblings have noticed the change, too, and say it’s the

best they’ve seen her in years.

The staff at Avantara has been amazing. Everyone, from Jennifer to Nettie to Allison,

truly cares about my mom. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure she’s

comfortable and happy. I especially appreciate how they took the time to find her the

perfect roommate—someone she gets along with really well.

One of Rosalie’s favorite parts of Avantara is the beautiful garden. We even donated

plants to help brighten the space, and the residents just love spending time out there.

The staff is great about keeping me informed, and every call starts with reassurance

that Rosalie is okay.

I couldn’t ask for a better place for my mom. Avantara Saint Cloud has exceeded

every expectation, and I’ve recommended it to so many people. It’s comforting to

know that Rosalie is in good hands, surrounded by people who care for her like family.
